"Tears of Sorrow" is the very first single by The Primettes later know as The Supremes, released in 1960. This single was their First single from Lupine Records, and their last. "Tears of Sorrow", along with "Pretty Baby", are the only known recordings that feature the vocals of Betty Mcglown There has been rumors that Betty never sang on these songs, and that session singers were brought in to sing with Mary and Florence. This information is confirmed in Mary Wilson's book, Dreamgirl: My Life As a Supreme, but it may not be true.
